Its been an era of immense technological improvements and innovation...and so is our phones companies finding their way to get one step ahead among their competitors ....
HTC , a great brand... is regularly bringing its quality product these days..one of them is..its mid range phone ....HTC 820 S
...HTC 820S has been the least talked about phone in the market since it always gets behind its father HTC 820 which is its single Sim variant....
every single post these days feature HTC 820...or even HTC 820 Q ...so i brought you this post ...solely dedicated to HTC 820S....
If you are expecting me to tell you about its specifications n' all ...nope...I ain't gonna do that...I'll just give a detailed unbiased review about this phone...
So ... let's start...
first of all ...the looks....they are awesome...of course they are awesome if you are a htc admirer ..and also for non-htc folks they are not so bad...
the phone is quite light-weighted....hence even when its size is quite big..it doesn't feel heavy at all..
the screen resolution is good...its not full HD but still it is good for an average phone...but at this price range it could have been full HD ....
the speakers are "ok"sort..they are not loud...they are very clear ...also no Boom Speaker like sound which HTC sort of forget to include (even the HTC 816 which is at a lower price than this has boom speakers)....
Camera of this phone is average ..which is very disappointing at this price range...the "HTC brand camera" which I was expecting ..was absent...but the pictures clicked are not bad..but they are not good either...average sort of clicking through the rear camera even though it is 13 MP camera...I was sort of happy by the performance of the front camera...it is quite good ....It's rear LED flash is very very strong...it will definitely not disappoint you in any case..
it has noise cancellation mic which I came to know no one mentioned in their post...not even the HTC's official page...but when I contacted them about this...their experts told me this...
It is Uni body phone ..that means it does not have any phone panel removable..and hence the battery is also sealed inside ....has a single flip opening on the side for SIMs and the memory card....
On some posts ...it is written that it comes with Gorilla Glass... but when i contacted them..they did not gave me any solid evidence ...they did said that it comes with "extra glass protection"..I don't even know what it actually means...It could have been the actual gorilla glass at this price range...who knows..whether there is any actual screen protection or not...so I would recommend you to go for a tempered glass screen protector...
Now...the software part...
It does not have the HTC sense ....which is quite disappointing ..I contacted the HTC for this...they old me that they are working over this..and soon will feature sense in this product also...I don't know to which extent they are true in saying this ...or how soon they will be putting sense in these handsets....so if you want HTC Sense....do not buy this....
It has HTC Blinkfeed skin loaded on android Kitkat 4.4.4 which is quite good with the 2 GB Ram Included....
It also has Notification LED which is quite expected at this price range...
It uses nano Sim ..of which Sim 1 is 3G and 4G LTE enable....it is strictly written on the official page not to cut the micro Sim to make a nano out of it...as there is Sim Tray which will not accommodate as the nano sim is slimmer ...but I gave it a try and even if it is done casually...it will fit..and will pose no problem in working...so my suggestion...GO FOR IT...(but still I do not guarantee)...
This phone has 1 Processor with 8 core which works quite fine..actually ...works very very smoothly...In the testing process I never experienced any stuttering or lags...which only goes to prove that This phone is Super Fast and Super Powerful...
This phone also supports moving apps to SD card..even though it has enough internal memory 16 GB (actually only 12 GB approx is available)
Also this phone does not support OTG....Oh no HTC...this could have been a feature which could have bought many more buyers... :-(

Overall ...this phone is good...actually really good if you want HTC branding and good looks...this phone is super powerful ...has average/good camera...average but clear sounding speakers....
